The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) held an awards ceremony for players who played a big role in Europe last season at the 2023-2024 UEFA Champions League group stage draw held at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco on the 1st (Korean time).
The biggest honor, the ‘Male Player of the Year’ award, went to ‘Monster’ Holland
who scored 52 goals in 53 official games last season.
Holland was named ‘Player of the Year’ at the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) awards ceremony on the 30th of last month, and was again named the best player recognized by UEFA two days later.

‘Female Player of the Year’ was won by Anitana Bonmatti (Barcelona)
who helped Spain win the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The ‘UEFA President’s Award’ was received by legendary striker Miroslav Klose, who scored 71 goals in 137 games for the German national team.
