Basketball team founder’ Sono names Kim Seung-ki as first head coach
Sono International, the holding company of Daemyung Sono Group, which is preparing to launch a professional basketball team, has named Kim Seung-ki, who led the Goyang Carot last season, as its first head coach.
“Coach Kim is the first basketball player to win a championship as a player, coach, and manager, and he is recognized as the greatest mastermind,” Sono said, adding that he will bring in the entire coaching staff.
Once the KBL’s board of directors and general assembly approve the move, Sono will begin work on the franchise in earnest.
