OK Financial Group and Hyundai Capital have made a trade.
OK Financial Group announced on Monday that it has agreed to trade setter Kwak Myung-woo to Hyundai Capital in exchange for middle blocker Cha Young-seok and a first-round rookie draft pick in the 스포츠토토사이트 2024-2025 season.
Kwak Myung-woo is a veteran of the OK Financial Group, having been selected in the second round of the 2013-2014 rookie draft. He played 10 seasons with OK Financial. He played a key role in the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 seasons, leading the team to back-to-back championships.
Last season, he played in 34 games and 126 sets, utilizing his height for side blocking and steady play to help the team finish runner-up in the Championship.
Prior to his new home at OK Finance, Cha joined Hyundai Capital as the second overall pick in the second round of the 2016-2017 rookie draft, where he played seven seasons. He is known for his solid fundamentals and quick offense. Cha played in 27 games and 86 sets last season, ranking fourth in the league in fastballs. He became a free agent after the end of last season and re-signed with Hyundai Capital, but was traded this time.
