The Korean women’s volleyball under-20 national team ranked third in the 2024 Asian Youth Championship.
The Korean national team, led by coach Jang Yoon-hee, defeated Thailand 3-1 (25-21 18-25 25-22 25-23) in the third-place match held in Jiangmen, China on the 9th.
In this tournament, in which 12 countries participated, Korea defeated Taiwan and New Zealand and advanced to the quarterfinals in first place in Group D.
After winning against India and losing to Japan in the quarterfinals, 스포츠 Korea lost 3-1 to China in the semifinals.
However, the top four teams in this tournament have earned a spot in the 2025 World Youth Volleyball Championship.
Korea, which defeated Thailand in the third-place match, finished the tournament in third place for the second consecutive time since 2022.
